For sales professionals · live practicum on Zoom

AI training for sales teams: prospecting, emails and call prep

Your week is account research, outreach, follow-ups, call notes and proposals, and most AI-written sales emails read like everyone else's. In four live sessions over two weeks you build a personal AI setup for that work: prompts for your sequences, a faster way to prepare for calls, and clear rules on what stays out of the chat.

Sales tasks you repeat every week

Account and prospect research

Paste the company's web pages, recent news and the prospect's public profile, then ask for likely priorities and discovery questions. Models happily fill gaps with confident guesses about revenue, tech stack or org structure, so use only what you can trace to a source.

Cold emails and follow-up sequences

AI's first draft is usually too long, too polite and full of generic compliments. The skill is giving it the prospect's context and your real reason for reaching out, then cutting hard and checking that every personal detail is true.

Call preparation and objection handling

Before a discovery or negotiation call, AI can draft an agenda, likely objections and short answers based on your product notes. You can also rehearse with the model playing a skeptical buyer; real buyers are less predictable.

Call notes and CRM updates

Give it rough notes or a transcript and ask for a summary, next steps and a follow-up email in one pass. Check names, dates, amounts and commitments carefully: a wrong next step in a follow-up costs more than the minutes you saved.

Proposals and pricing explanations

AI structures a commercial proposal around the problems the client described and explains pricing options in plain language. It must not invent discounts, terms or delivery dates, so give those as fixed inputs and tell the model not to change them.

What a salesperson works on in each session

  1. 1

    Tools and the core skill

You see how ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini handle sales writing and research, and choose a setup for your budget, including a free one. Then you rebuild a prompt you actually use, such as a first-touch email, from the four elements and compare before and after live.

  2. 2

    Writing, correspondence, personal brand

The core session for sales: cold emails, follow-ups, polite rejections and difficult conversations about price or delays. You adjust tone and formality for buyers in different markets and cultures, remove the AI smell from outreach, and work on your LinkedIn profile and commercial proposals.

  3. 3

    Documents, data, visuals

You review a contract or order form and prepare questions for the other side, research an account or segment in about half an hour, and turn a pitch structure into slides. We also cover where AI miscalculates pipeline numbers and why customer data and anything under NDA stays out of public tools.

  4. 4

    Assistants, automation, assembling the system

You build an assistant for one repeating job, such as call prep or post-meeting follow-ups, with your product notes stored in its persistent settings. Then you audit your week, map your personal AI system and plan the next 90 days.

Worked example: a follow-up after a discovery call

You just finished a discovery call and have messy notes. You need a follow-up email that confirms what you heard, proposes a next step and doesn't sound templated.

You are an experienced B2B account executive who writes short, specific follow-up emails.
Context: I sell [product] to [buyer role] at [type of company]. I just had a first call with [name, role] at [company].
My call notes: [paste raw notes].
Task: write a follow-up email that confirms the two or three problems they described, in their words where possible, and proposes one next step: [demo, pilot, call with a colleague].
Constraints: under 150 words, no compliments about their company, no phrases like “I hope this email finds you well”, no claims about results.
If a detail in my notes is unclear, put a question for me in square brackets instead of guessing.
Format: subject line, then the email body.
Example of the tone I want: [paste one of your own emails that got a reply].

You get a short draft that mirrors the buyer's language and ends with one clear ask. Check every problem it lists against your notes and delete anything the buyer didn't actually say. If it still reads stiff, ask for a version that sounds like you on the phone, then cut it by a third yourself.

What you leave the practicum with

  • A tool setup for sales work that fits your budget and your company's rules on customer data.
  • Rebuilt prompts for first-touch emails, follow-ups and call summaries, written around your product and buyers.
  • A correspondence template for your most frequent sales situation, tested on real messages.
  • A custom assistant for call prep or post-meeting follow-ups, built live in the fourth session.
  • A personal AI stack map and a 90-day roadmap, plus the recordings, workbook, 30 prompts and answer-checking checklist.

Where AI doesn't replace a salesperson

People buy from people they trust, and trust is built in conversations AI isn't part of. A model can't hear hesitation on a call, read the politics inside an account or decide when to walk away from a bad deal. It also can't tell which details in a personalized email are true, and a careless send damages trust fast. AI helps with preparation and paperwork; the relationship and the judgment stay with you.

FAQ

Is it safe to put prospect and customer information into AI tools?

Not automatically. Session three covers what never goes into a public chat, how to strip identifying details, and which settings keep your data out of model training; your company's policy comes first.

Does this replace our CRM or sales engagement tools?

No. The practicum works with general assistants like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini alongside your existing tools; the advanced block in session four shows no-code connections between services.

Can a whole sales team join?

Colleagues can join the same cohort, and groups are up to 40 people. Each participant pays $250 and builds a setup for their own work, so it doesn't replace training built around your team's specific process.

I'm on calls all day. Will I manage?

Four 90-minute sessions over two weeks, with recordings that stay with you forever. Assignments take 15–20 minutes and use a real task, like an email you had to write anyway.

What if it isn't what I expected?

If it's not a fit after the first session, you get a full refund. The group chat stays open for 30 days for your questions.

AI system in two weeks

A live practicum for people who work with text, clients and documents. Four sessions that leave you not with notes, but with a working system: configured tools, your own prompt library, and a clear count of the hours you got back.
