For freelancers and small business owners · live on Zoom

An AI course for small business owners and freelancers who do it all

When the business runs on you, you are also the copywriter, the account manager, the first reader of every contract and the person who answers every client message. In four live sessions over two weeks you build an AI setup that takes the first draft of that work off your plate, with tools matched to your budget and clear rules on what to double-check.

Work you do yourself that AI can help with

Proposals and quotes

Describe the client's request, your scope and your prices, and AI drafts a clear proposal with options and exclusions. It will cheerfully add deliverables you never offered, so give scope and pricing as fixed inputs and read the final version line by line.

Client emails and awkward conversations

Chasing a late invoice, pushing back on scope creep or explaining a delay are messages people put off for days. AI gives you a calm first draft in the tone you choose; you add the detail only you know and decide whether it goes out.

Marketing without a marketing team

Posts, a short newsletter, service page copy and replies to reviews can all start as AI drafts built from your notes and past work. The risk is sounding like every other business online, so show the model examples of how you actually write.

Contracts, terms and documents

AI can walk through a client contract or supplier agreement, flag unclear clauses and suggest questions to ask before signing. It is not a lawyer, so treat its notes as questions for a conversation, not a verdict.

Planning, research and numbers

Checking a new niche, comparing suppliers or sketching a simple pricing model goes faster when AI does the first pass. Models make confident arithmetic and factual mistakes, so recalculate anything involving money yourself.

What you work on in each session as an owner or freelancer

  1. 1

    Tools and the core skill

You compare ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, see how paying and access work from any country, and pick one of three setups, from free to paid. Then you rebuild a prompt for a task you repeat every week, such as a quote or a client update, using the four elements.

  2. 2

    Writing, correspondence, personal brand

You work on the messages a small business depends on: outreach, follow-ups, polite refusals and payment reminders, in the right tone for clients in different markets and cultures. You also rewrite your profile or service description and get AI to ask you for the context it needs.

  3. 3

    Documents, data, visuals

You go through one of your own contracts and prepare questions for the other side, research a market or competitor in about half an hour, and make simple images and slides for work. We also cover what never goes into a public tool: client personal data, NDA material and trade secrets.

  4. 4

    Assistants, automation, assembling the system

You build an assistant for one recurring task, like answering typical client questions or preparing quotes, and see how no-code connections move information between services. A week audit shows what to hand over first, and you leave with a map of your system and a 90-day roadmap.

Worked example: a proposal from a vague client request

A potential client sent a long, vague message about what they need. You want to reply today with a clear proposal that sets scope and price without overpromising.

You are an experienced independent consultant who writes short, clear proposals for small clients.
Context: my business is [what you do and for whom]. My services and prices: [list with prices].
The client's message: [paste the message].
Task: write a proposal with a one-paragraph summary of their request and two options, basic and extended, each with what is included, timeline and price.
Constraints: use only services and prices from my list; add a “Not included” line to each option; no promises about results.
If the request is unclear, list up to three questions I should ask before starting.
Tone: friendly and professional, the way I write here: [paste a short email of yours].
Format: plain text I can paste into an email, under 300 words.

You get a proposal draft and a short list of questions that often matter more than the proposal itself. Check that every item and price matches your list and that the timeline is one you can actually keep. If the options overlap, explain the real difference and ask for a rewrite.

What you leave the practicum with

  • A tool setup chosen for your business and budget, including a free option.
  • Rewritten prompts for your most common tasks: quotes, client updates, posts and document reviews.
  • Ready templates for the messages you tend to postpone, like payment reminders and scope changes.
  • Your own assistant for one recurring task in your business, built live in the fourth session.
  • A personal AI stack map and a 90-day roadmap, plus the recordings, workbook, 30 prompts and answer-checking checklist.

Where AI doesn't replace you as the owner

AI doesn't know your clients' history, your margins or the promise you made on a call last month. It can't take responsibility for a contract, a tax question or the price you quote, and its mistakes often sound convincing. On legal and financial questions it helps you prepare for a professional's advice, not replace it. It is good at first drafts, structure and tedious parts, which leaves your time for decisions only you can make.

FAQ

Is it safe to put client information into AI tools?

Session three covers what never goes into a public chat, including personal data, NDA material and trade secrets, and how to anonymize documents before using them. Check client contracts for confidentiality terms too.

Which tools do I need to pay for?

None to start. The first session covers three setups for different budgets, starting from free, so you choose by your tasks, not hype.

I'm new to AI. Is this too advanced?

No. The first session starts with the fundamentals, and the no-code automation part of session four is an advanced block you can return to later using the recording.

How much time will it take away from my business?

Four 90-minute sessions over two weeks, plus a 15–20 minute assignment between them. Each assignment is a real task from your business.

What if it's not for me?

If it's not a fit after the first session, you get a full refund of the $250. The practicum is taught in English or Russian, and new cohorts start every month.
